Infinite loading screen

Yesterday when I logged into the game, an option to download background game info (worth about 0.0MB from the game screen). I tapped yes to download that. Since then I have been unable to log into the game, with the title card displaying forever. I forced closed the game and reopened it to no success. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the game with the same result. I use an iPhone 7 128GB. Am I the only one experiencing this?

Please help. I couldn't progress in AQ, AW or squirrel girl's acornucopia.
