Which Science Champ Should I Upgrade?

Thing is duped (sig 40) and Human Torch is not. Who is best for end game content. Haven’t finished 6.2 yet or Variant 1 or 3. Thoughts as to whom would be most helpful at R5?

Haven't played either one properly, but my guess is on Torch. He can wreck mystics, whereas Thing is good, but I don't see him extremely useful in endgame

Human torch if you're looking for an attack team champ. Doesn't need the dupe to be effective

Any other thoughts? Don’t want to waste the resources and would love the community feedback.
