Why can’t we sell Annihilus and Maw ?

Why can’t we sell champs like Maw and Annihilus during the window we can sell Namor and Cull , we are able to sell the good champs we may or may not be happy with but still given no choice to sell ones like Maw and Annihilus, it seems very unfair and I’d like the resources back from ranking up my Annihilus thinking he was going to be a good champion when I pulled him.

    Because those two got improved...?

I understand they got improved but it is a very small basically ineffective improvement whereas Namor and Cull are still deemed great champions but the likes of Annihilus is still poor.

They will probably be sellable just like cull and namor, but at a later time maybe. Kabam wants to do cull and namor first.

My guess is their reasoning is that if you decided to rank up champs in their original states and if their re-balancing only offered improvements with no detriment, there would be no reason to sell the champs.

To be honest, I agree with that sentiment. The ability to get resources back from rank-ups should remain reserved for champs that have been adjusted downward. As an example, it's very possible a person ranked Namor SPECIFICALLY for his unique form of regen. As the regen was tuned down, the owner should get the chance to evaluate and recover those resources if he so chooses. I think this was a good move by Kabam.

If a champ is re-balanced and only gets positive improvements, I don't see why a person should be able recover those resources. The recovery isn't meant to rectify regrettable rank-ups. If you ranked Ebony Maw before the re-balancing, there's nothing he can't do now that he could do then...that's my understanding anyway. I don't know much about Ebony Maw's re-balancing yet...but I understand he was only tuned up.

I will say that if ANY aspect of a champ is tuned down even a little, the owner should be given the option to recover resources. Even if it's a significant net buff. If they doubled a champ's attack rating but decreased their health by 1 point, the recovery of resources should be offered.

I completely agree with your statement but also think that if someone who has heard about this rebalance when it was first announced and then ranked up the champions then should be allowed to regain or refund their resources used at the cost of selling the champion , Annihilus is a great defender but still a very poor attacker hence my reasoning to want to sell , especially having an awakened 5* version

If you decided to rank them up why would you want to sell them once they have been buffed?!? Namor and Cull have been nerfed that's the only reason why you can temporarily sell them but those who have been and will be buffed there is no good reasons to make them sellable..
