No damage over time in 6.2.1

Ever since the most recent update, none of the basic damage over time debuffs are doing any damage in this particular quest (6.2.1). Bleed, poison, incinerate all show up, but do no damage. Internal bleed, neurotoxin, and nova flames do damage, but not their basic counter parts.

I’ve tried this with several champions and none are doing damage over time (AA, nick fury, human torch, mysterio). It only seems to be this quest though, so I’m not sure if there is a messed up interaction with lifecycle or something. It just changed after the most recent update because I was working on this quest before and after the update.

The global makes defenders immune to dot debuffs, always has. Reread it.

Thanks, missed that part. Why do nova flame, internal bleed, and neurotoxin do damage then?

They are passive effects, different than Debuffs, they allow you to get around nodes and abilities that interact explicitly with Debuffs.

Correct, immunity to a type of Debuff does not grant immunity to Passive Effects. Debuffs can be distinguished by the light ring they have around their border, which Passive Effects do not have.
