Why not do a unit lottery or a champ 1 ?

Players can buy into a pot let's say 30 units get you a ticket collector draws at random. 1 lucky player per week or month takes units ? Or do a champion lottery ? I'd like to win some free units lol

Do it. Do it now, Kabam.

10 units for a lottery ticket, and you can buy as many as you want. Every week, the pot of units is split equally between 1% of the tickets sent in.

Let's say that 100,000 tickets are sent in for 10 units each. That's a pot of 1,000,000 units. The 1 million units are divided up equally to 1,000 randomly chosen tickets (which is 1% of the 100,000). Each of those tickets would receive 1,000 units, which is a fair split of the 1 million unit pot. Keep in mind, since multiple tickets can be sent in by the same user, the same user could win multiple times at once, gaining more than 1,000 units.

Or say Kabam puts up a t4cc crystal as the grand prize. Once the 100,000 tickets are sent in, 1,000 tickets are rewarded, but with the crystal instead of the unit pot. They could do this with a specific champion, a bundle of potions and revives, gold, ISO, Premium Hero Crystals, anything. This needs to happen.

because of the "whales". the huge spenders. if they liked the idea of being able to increase their roster, units, or anything else simply by spending units, it would widen the gap even more. say you put in 10 chances. well mr. no.1 in game put in 1,000 chances. and so did the 300 people below him. your odds just became nonexistent.

Then they could split it into brackets. Each 10% of players is in their own bracket, totalling to 10 brackets. Then they could change the numbers as necessary.

we're talking about a company that is pushing out new content without working as hard on the issues that exist on current content. that's alot of new content, that is sure to be flawed with issues.

Ah, I see. The old "well, he has a point, but there's bugs in things so this won't work because bugs" trick. There are bugs in programming. Everything requires programming, so everything might have bugs. By your logic, they shouldn't fix bugs because it might cause bugs.

That's a terrible idea. The whole point of a lottery is to pay out to only one person while taking money from everyone else. IRL you might do that at the chance of being that one person, but for an in game economy it will both screw up the economy and give someone at total random a bunch of stuff they didn't earn except to pay a couple of units for.

    No thank you.
