5* IMIW worth taking up all the way to r4?

I have a 2-3 and 3-4 tech gem but I’m a but hesitant on giving it to him. He’s unawakened and my stealth spidey is only a r3 4* so I’m not planning to use that synergy for aw or hard content. I’ve seen some great gameplay from him and he’s got some pretty good utility, but he’s no ghost or warlock. I’m not too sure on how well he would be for v3 but I might use him for aw offense. Should I save my rank up gems for warlock/ghost or is imiw still worth? I need help deciding lol

    Yes absolutely! I use my r4 imiw for literally everything:

    aw defence helps if he’s duped.

    Aw attack he handles annoyances like nightcrawler and modok.

    Aq he’s s as beast and he’s never not on my questing team.

    Absolute mvp all the time and I used his heavy attack to cheese uncollected mojo in the latest eq.
