Who should I take to r4?

Both of these champs (carnage and SG) are 4*. I know they're not the greatest but so far it's all I have to work with

should I bother taking them to r4 or just save my tier 4 base catalysts for when I get a better 4*??

Take them to rank 3 (I assume your champs are already there).

Carnage takes a long time to accumulate permanent buffs, fight is often over earlier.

SG has stun so gives a window for stun (parry), special 3, combo. Maybe better than Carnage in short fights.

Save the catalyst for other champs.

Save your t4. As they take a while to get and both of those options are pretty ordinary. I would only rank them up if you have nothing else and you t4 are in the overflow

take them to rank 3/30 and keep them there although if you do end up taking on of them up id go spider gwen only because of her stun and armor breaks but keep them at 3/30

Save. The people who are telling you to use them either don't remember how hard it was to get t4bs at the beginning, or they're trying to mess with you. Neither of those champs is worth it, and being patient at this point is your best move. Better champs will come, which isn't hard given your two options. Literally two of the worst champs.
