Delay from Parry to Use a Special

Please look into the delay (both my Android and iPhone have it) that occurs when you parry the opponent and you CAN NOT fire a special right away. There's a strange delay where I'll tap the button but it won't initiate. If I do one attack (light or medium) and THEN fire the attack, it works every time. This slight delay causes myself to get hit and not use a special, and that's not a good design.
