Suggestion for debuff interactions with symbiot champions and others.

Given how the symbiots are written in the comics, i thought it would be interesting for their interactions with both bleed/poison and incinerate/shock debuffs should reflect that.

Bleed and poison debuffs lasting 50% or greater less duration for all champs with a symbiot. In the comics the symbiots close wounds and purify sickness so it would make sense to reflect that.

Conversely the symbiots are vulnerable to fire/heat. While venom has a minor interaction with incinerate, my thinking would be that all symbiots have incinerate and shock debuffs lasts 200% longer, shut down all passive abilities and remove all buffs.

Also regarding incinerate, being that groot and king groot are made of wood, it would make sense that incinerate has normal duration on groot and king groot cant shrug them off.

    Let me guess, you also want Ghost Rider to be incinerate immune

    They can't stay completely faithful to the comics, or characters like dormammu would be untouchable.

    Less bleed/poison damage? Many of them have regen. That’s their healing factor

    I honestly have no clue why you roped shock into this, but making incinerate completely shut down a character is completely ridiculous. The only thing that made any sense was that incinerates do 200% more damage.

    Fun fact Flora Clollosai (Groot’s species) are made of ironwood, a fire-resistant material, so they would burn exactly the same as any other character

    TL,DR;

    No.

    The decreased bleed or poison damage would be offset by the huge penalty by shock and bleed. While theyd be great for some matchups, theyd be a liability for others.

    You have no idea why shock is roped in? Do you understand the properties of electricity? Lmao

    Theres even a comic panel where carnage was stopped by coming into contact with the 3rd rail in the subway.

    Heat and sound make a symbiot leave its host, so it makes perfect sense to stop abilities.

    Thanks for the groot info.

    It certainly would make sense. The only reason he isnt is due to the fact that debuff wasnt in the game when he was released.

    Sigh. I hate to do this, but sorry, comics have no say in this realm. You see, in the battlerealm, which is a demented splicing of realities formed from the dying corpse of a celestial, every reality simultaneously applies and does not apply. The iso-8 that is everywhere augments different life forms in very different ways; weakening some, strengthening others. In this realm, iso-8, while granting a newfound resistance to heat and shock, it reduces his resistance to bleed and poison. So we don’t play by the comic book rules here. Iso-8 dictates everything. So while what you are saying may or may not make sense in the comics, iso-8 may change that.

    If a champion is good in its current form why does it need changing, only the worst champs should be changed like with the hulkbuster buff
