I just lost over 4,000 units after updating.

This was the last screenshot I earlier last week when I pulled 5* Cap IW.


The next picture is from a few minutes ago.


I'm a player that hordes units for unit offers that are worth spending on. I did a double take when I saw 2017 units. I knew it was higher than that and when I looked at my last screencapture; it was WELL above what I had. I was nearing 7000 as of yesterday and now I'm down to barely over 2000 units. Can I get some kind-of explanation as to where these almost 5000 units disappeared too?
