Is Doctor Voodoo a good counter to Pyramid x boss?

I've got voodoo as a 4 star at rank 2 should I rank him up to defeat this boss. I'm not very skilled at dodging special attacks especially her sp 2. If I block the special she just kills me instantly, also the Pyramid x boss I'm fighting is only on master difficulty and I'm still really struggling with this boss. Is there any solutions apart from spending money on revives.
