Jane Foster's Mjolnir

Can anyone explain why Thor Jane Foster's Mjolnir is smaller than classic Thor's Mjolnir? If it is the same Mjolnir, why is it smaller on one character?

Thanks!

They are not the same. Thats also why they both have one for each other, and one isn't shared for both of them

Lore wise It's literally the same mjolnir.
Most likely reason for the size reduction is the size difference of the Jane and odinsons models. Keeping the same size hammer model would look cartoonishly large on jane
I would like to see it cartoonishly large for Thor Jane Foster.

For design purposes, it was likely made that way to fit the character.
But even so, the hammer's aren't the same. Either there are multiple of them, or the character is from another reality. Whatever excuse might be given, since it's a game and reality isn't applied here

I'm sure you're correct about the design of the champ guiding the size of the hammer, but in every version of Jane Foster Thor we know of, she uses the exact same Mjolnir as the original Thor of whatever universe they're inhabiting.

It's not the size of your hammer that matters...

Jane Foster took over the mantle of Thor when Thor Odinson became unworthy after the original sin storyline.
She didn't come from another Universe.

This makes the most sense to me

What will-o-wisp tried to get to here, is every character is plucked from a timeline. As is the hammer. Lore wise, you are correct, but every single character here is from a different reality. That is why, lore wise, in the game, there are a million thor's for each summoner because they are from different timelines and realities.

In this case, will isnt comparing thor and jane, hes just saying the hammer itself is from a different reality, because you cant have two hammers from the same universe (until the MCU figures something out for Thor 3). and between realities, you have slight differences, i.e. the size of the hammer.

Also... its magic. lets just say it changes size for the user.

It's the same hammer, go read 2014 Thor or the mighty Thor. OG Thor became unworthy and Jane foster picked up the hammer, don't want to spoil it further.

Yea It's not like the game is based off or picking champions from the comics. 🙄

The game adapts character's, not the full powers/abilities of each one of them. And the game happens in it's own universe, different from the one you have in the comics or in the movies. So even the laws and rules are different (let's just say, the developer's are the one's who decide what happens, and nothing needs to follow the original source).
