More content being planned and up the sleeves

I am not after spoilers here, but one of the big points in 6*s is that they are not the only things up the sleeves and being worked on.

Does this mean that different modes are going to come into the contest, not a new AQ season, or Octobers event quest, or little monthly things.

I mean will anything huge be coming that is permanent and DIFFERENT to what we have.

5* arena doesn't count
Event quests don't count (including added difficulty)
Act 5 doesn't count
Rifts and stark/raccoon workshop doesn't count

I mean something that will be permanent, that may be a solo thing or alliance thing, is something else coming that we don't already have?

Btw I love the event quests, mini things like Rifts and I play arena a lot, I just want to know new things will come and be added for longer than a month in the future?

    I don't think bases are even going to be a thing, but would be nice to know more content is still coming along

    Maybe ROL pt.2? Where it isn't about crazy nodes but just enduring battles where they have a lot more health than even LOL champs.

    Based on the Ihumans Motion Comic, it looks like "artifacts" will be the next big content item
