Unable to select allegiance - Game now broken?

Hi all, I'm wondering if this has happened for anyone else.

Opened the game, claimed on the in-game message that let me change allegiances.
Nothing showed up, but the screen went dark, like the background when a pop up offer appears.

Unable to press anything, or choose an allegiance.
Closed the game, reopened. Game loads normally, screen goes darker on the home screen, unable to press anything again.

Anyone else having the same issue??
Running on Android, game has been fine otherwise up until now.

    Hey @Graewood,

    Were you able to choose a new Allegiance, or was that not possible at all? Would it be possible for you to capture this on video?

    I'm having the same issue after claiming the in-game mail. My screen remains dark and can't interact with any part of the screen. Tried relaunching the dgame several times but the game continued to open out with the darkened screen and being unable to interact.

    Hi Miike, the option never popped up for me to choose an allegiance. I'll upload a video asap which doesnt show the initial opening of the message, but shows the situation I'm now facing.

    I'll try uninstalling and reinstalling to see if that helps.

    Extra info; I fully uninstalled the game and cleared all the cache. Ive now reinstalled it and the issue is continuing.

    so i choose the other side (the one i dont want) and i can enter tge game but i want the apocalypse side. i got to choose twice.

    Hey dude, raised a the same issue earlier, Kabam Miike responded so I'm hoping they're looking into it.

    Additional standard bug info:

    Running a Samsung Galaxy S8 on the latest version of android.

    Same issue on both Wifi and cell data.

    I'm Experiencing the same issue, Screen went dark as soon as I clicked in the email. It has happened now on BOTH of my accounts, I'm more upset it happened to the one I've spent countless amounts of money on. Any updates on whether this problem is being resolved?

    I've had this happen with Several Event Pop-Ups, if you have Another Device just log into your account from there and it should work correctly. I know it's odd but it's worked for me on 3 separate occasions, also obviously make sure your logged out of your account on your first device before attempting to log into it on the second device.

    Same thing for me, galaxy s10+
    Re-installed twice and it keeps happening. First started when I tried to choose a side after claiming in game mail. Bug with the mail sent perhaps?

    I wonder if it's just an android thing?

    We've just pushed a fix that should resolve things booth for those who are stuck loading and for those who are stuck on the darkened screen. You may want to give it a few minutes and then restart your game in order for it to take effect though. If you still see issues afterward, feel free to let us know.

    Hey @Kabam Zibiit thanks for you and the teams' efforts. Unfortunately I'm still in the same predicament as I outlined and showed in the video.
    I've re-installed the game to see if that worked, but unfortunately no.

    Another poster suggested logging in on another device, but unfortunately I dont have one to do so.

    A very small change: Opened the game and a pop up appeared to say AW had started. I could press the place button, which took me to the BG screen.
    The whole screen then faded dark again, and I was once again unable to press anything.

    I've not been able to repeat this again since, I'm still stuck on the homepage in my attempts since.
