Player profiles while mid Incursion

During my last 2 Incursion runs I took a break with my partner for a couple hours. During this time I went into AW to take some fights and before this I usually check player profiles to see if the enemy is running suicides or not.
While I was in the player profile I clicked on their champion portraits so I could go in to check base stats and nothing happened. The champion portrait bounces around proving its been clicked but I can’t go any further.
As soon as I finished my Incursion run with my partner I tried again and it worked. I was able to repeat this issue in my second Incursion run as well.
