Keeping 2* and 4*'s relevant?

Personally, I love my 2* collection. I thought the 2* only arena (for a 5*) a while back was a great way to keep them part of the game. Now that 5*'s are so much more common, is there any consideration for making that a monthly (or every other month). I believe that would be a worthwhile recurring event.

Along those same lines, as a long time summoner, I find my 4* collection not getting used near as much now. Any ideas on ways to keep using them? I only find myself using them for the monthly event for Master level. I use a few for sector 6 incursions. Any thoughts?

Oh, and don't bother bringing up 3*'s. They are dead to me...

I hates them...(jk)... just lack of interest honestly. When I started 4*'s were top notch. So 3*'s were just a short bridge to get you through until you scored a 4*. Currently, I don't mind maxing out 2*'s for fun because the gold/iso isn't that much, but 3*'s just seem pointless now.

V4 is a good point, just looking for something a little more consistent (and achievable...V4 is a little above my paygrade).

Play the EQs with your lower champs
UC 5s
Master 4s
Heroic 3/4s
Normal and beginner, 2/3s

There are opportunities to play with your lower champs, just have to choose to use them.

Arenas exist for them as well, the rewards suck for high level players, but it's there.

Valid points, but running through the monthly EQ 5 times is a bit of a snoozer IMO. After UC and Master, my attention span is maxed out. At that point, I'd rather spend time in the Incursions. (Hat tip for the update there guys...great improvements).

In regards to the arenas, I think that was kind of my original point for the post. Can we find a way to use 2*'s as a level 60 summoner and still find the rewards worth your time?

For me, if every 2 or 3 months Kabam said, "Dust off your 2*'s kids, time for a 5* arena" I'd be up for that. Given the current flow of 5*'s to the player base, I don't think that would dilute the game any faster, do you? It shouldn't tax the devs much either, the code is already there.

So your point is actually to have content that requires using lower* champs that have rewards that interest you. If that were the case, you'd be spending more time, but you mention your attention span being maxed out. Can't have everything

At this point, I am more so wondering if other higher-level summoners are interested in content that limits you to 2* squads with useful rewards (than the monthly EC as you mentioned) but is not at the extreme end of the skill set (V4 like the earlier responder mentioned)?

I have the 2*'s, but I don't have the skills for V4, so I shouldn't get those rewards.

What level of rewards would dust off your 2*'s for? It wouldn't need to be a 5*. Maybe for items you always seem to be short of (T4B or T1A)?

Or just them rot?

I'll go back to trying to have my cake and eat it too.
