OML's Interaction with Mephisto's Soul capture

As u can see in above image OML has his soul imprisoned but he was still able to get his regen and Furies. If some one can explain this It will be greatly appreciated.

    It has. Old Man Logan ability accuracy can not be increased or decreased.
    Soul Imprisonment reduces the chance for the opponent to activate Buffs by 100% for 15 seconds.
    It won't work on Old Man Logan since that reduction isn't applied to him.

    Abilities that trigger at the start of the fight always worked that way.
    Soul imprisonment is applied at the same time Venom gets his buffs. Not before, not after, but at the same time.
    Therefore Soul imprisonment won't do anything against it

    I wonder if duped mephisto, who's ability reduction can't be reduced, would stop oml's ability, to prevent ability reduction?

    Or would the game explode?!? ;-)
