I did it!

I just beat Lines in the Sand, aka the Masochism chapter.

This chapter had some really annoying fights, including Colossus and War Machine. I’d like to thank everyone who gave tips and tricks for masochism and the colossus fight.

My team:
2/35 Sabretooth (carried in the early fights)
1/7 Black Panther
5/50 Hyperion
4/55 Quake
4/40 Sentinel (carried as well)

I went the Yellowjacket Deadpool path, and Sabretooth really helped there. His synergy with Black Panther let me parry and inflict debuffs. Quake also helped in some fights as well.

But Sentinel man, is freakin awesome. I was debating taking up to r5, and I think I might. That Loki fight before the Storm boss, the Colossus, and of course the caltrops Storm boss. His armor up, heal block, and the regen for survivability.

I played the final fight perfectly, and got full analysis charges almost instantly.

It took me some units, but it is done. I’ll wait on bane for a bit, see how it works.

Once again, thanks for all the tips!

Yup well done and now you’ve got the hell called bane. Not to bad if your good at intercepting but you have to time it right.

I think my main strategy will be to Quake really well, that way bane doesn’t activate.

Hopefully but you can’t rely on quake to get through all the fights. Up to you really but I would recommend seatins guide and tips for uncollected

I’m not planning on it, but definitely going to use her for a few fights. Bane looks to be far better than masochism in my opinion.

Congrats! And Bane is not bad at all. Couple tips that helped me.
    Bait specials early.
Don’t freak out if bane transfers to you. Play smart and find an opening.
Be willing to throw specials that you may not want to in order to transfer bane. Example: I had to throw a couple special 1’s with Corvus, even though I wanted special 2, in order to time the bane right.
Practice 4 hit combo, dash back, then intercept. It will help a ton.

    You got this!

Yep, it kinda is. Bane might seem harder in the beginning, but once you get the hang of it, it should be fine. Practice a few times on the moon knight fight and try to get your bane transfers on point. Usually what I do is two fight hit combos and then wait till bane is about one fourth left and then parry and five hit combo to transfer bane. Another good strat might be to let your parry stun run out a bit before starting your combo if you think you might not get it on time.

    Good luck!

I’ll see what I can do, thanks for the tips. My goal is to become UC by the June event, there’s no way I’m doing it before the Black Widow one.

Yup I used hype and medusa mostly because there sp1 is perfect for bane as it has a long duration.

I really need to start getting in the mindset of using hype’s sp1. I’ve always only used the sp2, cause I’ve always had terrible rng with the incinerates.

    Congratulations!!
And tbh, bane is a fun node to play around with imo..but the quaking strategy you mentioned might not work out too well (unless of course you play her like a god)
I think you can just run as far you can and get a feel for bane.
Dorky Dave has a really good video on how to fight bane nodes.
Anyway, hope you get uncollected soon!

Yep you can do it for sure. Just remember to save up 600-1000 units for the collector boss cuz he is a cash grab fight. Doing a bit of arena and getting milestones from the 22 hour events are all simple ways to get some units.

Congrats my man (or woman, idk)! In all honesty, I thought this was the hardest quest. 5.2.5 was super easy for me. You'll get used to bane really fast and the hardest fight is that first Moon Knight. 6.2.6 was crazy of course, but you kind of go in knowing what you're getting into. The path itself shouldn't be hard at all, just have some team revives and/or units saved up for the Collector and being able to backdrafts intercept him like crazy will save you so many units and items.

Don’t run quake against bane unless you’re a godly quake player. Even one slip up will cost you the entire fight

I’ll run quake against bane, test it out. I’m not the greatest, but I’m good.
