Very mixed bag, squirrel girl is solid, nova meh then you have longshot and mojo who are amazing, followed by terrax and mile man who suck, then storm isn’t bad and sorcerer is solid, very inconsistent and no game changers like nick was last year, but mostly useful champs
- Nova is just rubbish on offence. Has decent use on defence
- Squirrel Girl has nice damage but no utility to back it up. Won’t make a dent in any half developer roster
- Longshot is the best champ this year and even here, it’s just damage with some ok utility. Nice for developed accounts but will be a game changer for newer accounts
- Mojo is unique and might end up being yeh most used due to his actually unique way of dealing with buffs and dealing damage. Unfortunately his full potential is hidden behind a max sig do only really available to developed accounts who likely have better options. Utter pain on defence though
- Mole Man is just a failure of a champion. Utility is weak and ineffective, much like his damage. Defensive potential is pretty weak as well
- Terrax should have been so much more. He will sit on defence for eternity and you will never use him on offence unless you are self-destructive. Damage is lacking and utility is scarce
- Sorcerer Supreme is a 6.2 champion counter. That’s literally all she is. I really liked this champ when she released but I’ve lost love for her very quickly. Slow is her only real asset, which other champs do better while packing more of a punch and more utility.
- Storm X is being slept on big time. Comparing my 5/50 version with a R4 Unawakened Havok vs Winter Soldier, I found that at a similar rank that they should have similar damage output and she has more utility than Havok. Very squishy though. If anyone has comparable ranked Storm and Havok’s I would be interested in a comparison in terms of kill time between the two. I think she might be better just using SP3’s. One to watch and could end up beating out Longshot if given a chance
Black Widow and Red Guardian look interesting, but once again, I worry that they don’t bring anything unique to the table and will end up being middle of the pack champions that serve no real purpose. I hope I’m wrong. I think the rebalancing fiasco led to a lot of undertaking of champs this year and it shows
Fine. Squirrel girl is pretty decent, but lacks utility
nova is just offensive trash and slightly annoying on defense
Mojo is an interesting champion and has solid utility and very high damage. Only complaint is that he needs max sig.
Longshot may or may not be the best champ in this year. His damage is absurd in certain situations. He lacks the utility to make him truly a great champ.
moleman and terrax are straight trash - good idea, terrible execution
Sorcerer Supreme is a decent champ, and would be a solid addition to most rosters
Storm Pyramid X is basically a worse version of Havok
Wolvie Weapon X is another contender for best champ this year. He has great bleed damage and regen. Too bad he's a trophy and his animations suck
Platinumpool seem's pretty OK, but I haven't read his full abilities because they are way too long. Another complaint about him is that his animations are the same as goldpool, DPXF, and OG deadpool
January had Squirrel Girl and Nova. Squirrel Girl has some good damage, but no utility. She’ll be good for progressing players, but doesn’t bring anything to the table for a slightly developed roster.
Nova is offensive garbage, and an okay defender.
February brought us Longshot and Mojo, and this was probably the best month so far.
Longshot is just damage, some ok utility. In certain situations, his damage is off the charts.
Mojo has fun utility and fun damage. Only problem is his need of max sig to be really effective.
March was, in my opinion, the worst month of the year so far, in terms of events and champions.
Terrax is an okay defender, terrible attacker.
Mole Man could’ve been so good, but he has ineffective utility and weak damage. Unlike Terrax, he has no defensive capabilities either.
April was interesting. Sorcerer Supreme was nice, good utility and nice damage. Pyramid X has some nice damage potential, but lacks the big yellow numbers she needs, and is very squishy.
Weapon X is a great bleed champion and contender for best champ this year, but he’s a trophy champ and that is the worst part about him.
Can’t say anything about Black Widow (Deadly Origin) or Red Guardian yet, but they both seem solid.
I think decent is a good word to describe it. Misclicked btw. Meant to hit demi. Some pretty good ones and some pretty bad but none meta changing for the most part
