Issues in Red by Dawn Quest

Device: iPad Pro 10.5
iOS: 13.3.1
Using WiFi on Comcast
Game version: 27.0
Occurred During uncollected Black Widow: Red by Dawn
2 different fights on the path where the attacker can only gain power if the defender launches a special.
First fight, I was using Corvus Glaive against M.O.D.O.K. Fight was going as expected until M.O.D.O.K. Launched his SP1. Corvus didn’t gain any power. At no point during the fight did Corvus gain power.
Second fight, I was using OML against Vision (Aarkus). Fight goes on, Vision launches Sp1, I get power. Vision gets to Sp1 again launches it and I don’t gain power. I hit him a few times gaining some power on 3 of the hits. He launches a special, then I gain a bar of power again.
I do not have video as this was very unexpected.
I have not had any issues on the other paths, just the bar of power on special path.
