Is 6 star colossus worthy of ranking up to lvl 3?

I have a mutant tier 5 from exploring act 6. Only mutant I have that I am thinking of using it on is my awake colossus. Do you guys think I should or wait until I get someone better?

    If prestige isn’t a big focus awakened colossus is worth it imo

    Colossus is an absolute monster and if i was in your shoes I'd probably pull the trigger on it. That is if you're good on prestige

    I'd rank him up unawakened even, so him being awakened is an even better reason to take him up to r3. My r5 sig 3 Colossus is so essential to my team in exploring Act 6 and pretty much all levels of content. Having him as a six star at r3 would be amazing.

    For all other purposes: sure, he's great.

    Definitely since he's Awakened, his Ramp Up becomes So Much Easier and faster. He has Great Utility, 4-6 Immunites, Insane Defensive Stats, and Insane Damage.
    His biggest problem is the same thing Proxima and Hela run into, you can never see his Full Ramp Up potential because the Enemies just get KO'ed too quickly!
    He's a Counter for a fair few trouble fights in this game like Korg, the Magnetos, Mordu, Domino, Havok, Vision Aarkus, the Freezer Burn Node, Crumbling Armor as long as the Enemy isn't Tech, on Defense Medusa can't do jack to him, and much more.
    He's also one of the only 2 or 3 Champions that can Auto Fight a Realm of Legends Enemy and Win, he's just That Bulky.

    Also he doesn't Require his Synergies but, if you have them, Oh Boy he is terrifying with them... Best part about them is all his Synergies except for Juggernaut are Top Tier Champions in their own right! (Emma Frost, Omega Red, Old Man Logan, Magik if you want 10% Additional Health)
    Edit: Also forgot about his Red Guardian Synergy which now makes him a Counter for Can't Stop Won't Stop Nodes.

    Honestly, I would take up colossus over domino and sunspot. I have domino and colossus both at rank 5. I use colossus all the time especially exploring act 6 and frankly, domino is mostly a defensive placement or ROL farmer because I can't bring in the whole synergy team for her in general questing because I need the other spots for other champs. Don't get me wrong she's still incredible in the right situations but colossus is just amazing all around. I also have a sunspot at rank 4 and I chose to take up colossus over him, his damage especially over medium- to long fights is actually better time-wise than sunspot and I find he has more relevant utility in general. If prestige isn't an issue colossus to me is arguably the best mutant in the game

    I honestly don't think Colossus is worth R3, but it's all up to opinion.
