Giving Us Something to Look Forward to with Ranking

MP Blaze again.

Another issue that has come up is that the grind to rank up 6* just feels redundant and without a purpose. We already went through the process of maxing out 5* to make them more powerful, is that the same idea with 6*?

An idea I’ve been bouncing around in my head is that the 5th rank of a 6* doesn’t require rank/level up materials but can only happen when a summoner acquires a special item. With this item they can rank up ONE 6* to r5 and can only ever have ONE at a time. Allow the item to cooldown for X amount of time, maybe a week, then the summoner can rank down that champ if they chose and rank up a different one. Maybe put the item in quest content that requires X number of 6* r4s.

Also, when a 6* is ranked to r5 it unlocks an additional Signature ability that does not have a level. If the champion is ranked down, the ability is locked.

I just think this idea can add a whole new aspect to planning war defense/offense and could allow an alliance to rank for an aq focus without the rank up being permanent.

It also gives us something to look forward to with this continued rankIng process but wouldn’t require anything beyond a 6* r5 as you can change your “roster” every week and explore new abilities with every champ.

What would the point be for resource acquisition if you can rank up/down when ever? Defeats the whole purpose.

Also why another Signature Ability? That just sounds like more work for the team without much payoff.

This may seem nice now, but it would completely stop the natural flow and progression of the game.

Should have stated that the rank down is only back to r4 and not to r1.
