4 or 5 player incursions to replace AW

Everyone seems sour over AW these days, no one I know really enjoys playing it, it takes far too long to play and it’s difficult getting 30 players all on board with each other in terms of spending to win, what the objective is G1 P1 etc. It causes more frustration and fall out than anything else in the game.
Incursion on the other hand is quicker paced and tbh more fun. Why not scrap AW and let people set up incursion teams with smaller number of players say 4 or 5 with a line each in the incursion then as well as the incursion rewards have a monthly league on top to replace AW.
Let players incursion teams encompass people outside their alliance as well if it’s possible or maybe you could introduce something similar. The main thing is something with much smaller teams separate to the 30 alliance members as the more players involved the more discord it creates. I think 4 or 5 is probably optimum.
