Cant log in

Mcoc for ios wont log me in and says i need to update the game.
I click the update button and it takes me to apple store. Apple store just guves me an option to open game and bot to update.
Have not been able to lig in for about 24 hours because of this. Do not want to miss out on log in specials and alliance events.
Please help
