Which characters have psychic resistance? I'm starting at 6.3 and the mystical characters path at 6.3.1 is easier for me.

    If you are talking about the reversed controls path, only Mr. Sinister is naturally immune to reverse controls.
    Mysterio is immune with the Emma Frost synergy as well.

    Other than that, I believe there is no other option.
    If you have Blade, you can use a synergy to have danger sense's across all battles in that path, so that you can end it quicker
