Do the 2016 rank 3-4 Gems work on OG Ultron (Labyrinth Ultron)?

If I take my labyrinth ultron to Rank 3 will I be able to use the 2016 3-4 gem from variants to take him to rank 4?

Nope for reasons. Another item that was a weird call from kabam that should have been done in the favor of the players as it literally effects nothing. Would just allow people to use their surplus of tech r4 gems.

I get the rational they used In special character verse regular but don’t think it was the right call to use that rational to justify the decision. Just counting him was a better move for the players that would effect nothing in terms of game balance.

Their game though.

Are you sure? They used to work on Kang, which made it more absurd that it didn't work on LOL Ultron.
