5 star tech spidey

If i want to save shards for 5 star tech spidey, do i open them at 15k shards in Nov OR 10k in Jan next year??

15k in Nov will give you a better chance. There'll be 77 champs in the basic pool in January so that will only give you 1 in 72 chance of getting any particular character. Chances of getting a featured champ from a featured 5* crystal are still low but much higher than 1 in 72.
