Recently I've left my alliance as the time and resources AW and AQ takes to complete on a weekly basis were becoming a bit too much for me.

I've noticed outside of your alliance progressing after becoming uncollected is basically impossibile.
I'm not really opposed to the direction you are taking the game to, the latest champ are allright in every situation and really shines on particular node/node combination. That is fine and "should help" differentiate rank-up and champions used but here is where the main problem comes.

Five star crystal are quite accessible, you can usually get to open 3 or 4 at least if you are uncollected and playing in a decent alliance, the drop rates are still bad, you should increase the rate at which newer champions can be found in basic, I had 25(+3 dupes) five star and the most recent one was Hela and she came out years ago.

Another point has to be made for gold even after all the changes after becoming uncollected you should push for those r4 5 star and ranking them up especially from r1 is really expensive. The little gold quest you gave us thru the sigil just gives you about 400k a month which isn't enough to even have a 5 star go from r3 to r4. Every where else, unless you consistently play arena, the gold you get is simply not enough to have you go anywhere and playing arena sure takes up a lot of time especially if combined with all the other game mode, have it be the only source of gold and units in the game is just bad because of the time investment. Sure incursion helps but still it isn't quite enough to set you free from the gold problem.

Last point are resources: during the monthly event you can get a maximum of 5 t1 alpha, uncollected difficulty doesn't reward a single one of them,
You get a bit more t4 basic, i guess 4 or 5 but this one usually is present in the monthly side quest as well.
To rank from 1 to 3 a 5 star you need 15 T1. While sure you can buy them from glory store it is ridicouls the the main rank up material for 5 star doesn't show up in any higher tier mission, do you want to rank up 2 five star champ(to the equivalent of a 5/50)? That is 30 t1 and you get 5 each month, how am I suppose to rank up so many different champs? And r3 is just so you can use it in monthly uncollected, for variant and act 5/early 6 you need at least the r4.
As I said five star requires far more than 4 and yet all the t1 alpha available is at 4 star lvl gameplay

You should get read of easy during monthly event because let's face it nobody is doing, it isn't worth anything even for a fresh new account, and you should bump up the catalyst(especially thpse t1) rewarded during high tier monthly event and give us an easier time and some better stuff to spend our glory on.

These are the changes that I think should be made to have us go a bit better with the direction you're taking the game to, I'm fine and full of hope for specific and different rank ups(they could really lengthen the life of the game) but most of the player base can't really afford it or it would take way too much time(I'm talking 3 months for 1 champ).
The current situation is also going against inventory system in place, I should rank up fast(within a month) of full inventory but I cannot rank up what I have because of this 3 factor and the champion itself(will it be useful enough to have me invest so much in him? Probably not).
