Seriously need an answer to this Rank up Gem question.

After choosing the ancient supreme side i got a bunch of rank up gems and surprisingly a class rank up. I also finished rttlol and got a 5* rank up. My question is why does the 4* rank up cost nothing to use but the 5* costs original rank up value to use?

    I honestly don't recall it costing nothing to use. You don't need crystals or ISO8, but gold, yes.

    @OzFearUs the 4* class rank up gem gives you a free rank up. But the 5* one is treated like a generic rank up gem?. If thats the case kinda sucks lol
