Please make 1 star champions more available

Does anybody struggle with Variant 4 quest 3.2? I have only 4 1* champions, of which none of them is hulk. I’ve spent a thousand units or so to hunt for 1* hulk, plus 40-50 revives trying to get through the last two paths in that quest, no success. I simply can’t understand why 1 star champions are 4 times more difficult to get than 2 stars.
