I need to know if there is a way to get 2 t2 cosmic catalysts today. If not I'll just wait till Friday or whatever.

    No. You can do the catalyst free-for-all, but it isn't guaranteed. If you're only a few fragments away, though, remember that you are guaranteed catalyst fragments of all types for completion and exploration.
