Potential Champion Buff Ideas (Abomination, Daredevil Netflix, Deadpool X-Force, Falcon, Groot)

Hey guys, given that there are so many unusable characters in game (lack of damage, utility, etc), I’ve taken a portion of Seatin's list of Meme Tier champions and applied some updates to them (the quarantine has left me fairly bored as you can see). I will use % values rather than numbers. Imagine they are fighting a champion of equal PI. I'm no game developer, so some of the values/abilities may be broken or not strong enough, but the general idea is what matters! Apologies in advance for any spelling/grammatical errors.

Abomination:

Sig Ability – Irradiate

- As the fight persists, Abomination releases more radiation, increasing the chance to Poison his opponent.
When attacking, increase the chance to Poison by 2% with every hit on his combo meter
When defending, increase the chance to Poison by 1% for every hit on the opponent's combo meter.

Passive
- Contact with Abomination’s gamma-irradiated body has a 20% chance to Poison the target, reducing their Health recovery by 15% per stack and dealing 20% of attack rating in damage over 4 seconds. Max Stacks: 15
- Opponent cannot be Poisoned if Abomination under the effect of a stun debuff.
- Opponent cannot be Poisoned if Abomination is struck by a Heavy attack or Special Attack

When Inflicted with a Bleed
- Abomination increases potency of Poisons by 25%.

Light and Medium Attacks
-15% Chance to activate a Fury buff, increasing attack rating by 10% for 5 seconds.

Heavy Attack
- Refreshes all currently active Poison debuffs and pauses them for 5 seconds.

Holding Block Near Opponent
- Abomination absorbs 2 poisons every second to heal for 2% of his Maximum Health.

SP1
- 100% chance to stun the opponent for 4 seconds and places a Concussion debuff, reducing opponent's ability accuracy by 100% for 8 seconds. This attack is unblockable if there are at least 2 Poisons on the opponent.

SP2
- 25% chance to place a poison (per hit) dealing 500% of attack value over 20 seconds. This can go beyond max stacks. Chance to Poison the target increases by 5% for every Poison currently on the target. This attack also absorbs all Poisons prior activation to Gain 7% of a Bar of Power for each Poison absorbed.

SP3
- Creates a Radiation field that causes nearby opponents to degenerate 15% of attack value per second for each Poison currently on the opponent. Lasts for 15 seconds.

Daredevil (Netflix)

Sig Ability - World on Fire

The son of Battlin' Jack Murdock becomes more determined as he takes punishment and dishes it out, allowing him to tap into his inner fighter.

Gains an indefinite passive 1% Precision buff (Max Stacks: 30) every time when:
- The opponent lands a hit
- Daredevil evades an attack (Works with Dexterity)
- Daredevil knocks down the opponent

Gains an indefinite passive 1% Cruelty Buff (Max Stacks: 50) every time when:
- The opponent places a debuff on him (Damage over time debuffs grant 5 stacks)
- Daredevil places a debuff on the opponent

Passive
- The remarkable suit crafted by Mr. Potter can turn aside knives and gunfire, granting Daredevil 50% critical resistance and 35% chance to perfect block, reducing all damage to 0.

When Attacked
- Daredevil's enhanced senses grant him a 15% chance to evade all attacks. This increases to 100% on projectiles.

All Attacks
- 15% chance to Armour Break the opponent, reducing armour rating by 15% for 10 seconds.

Heavy Attacks
- 100% chance to Exhaust the opponent, reducing Critical Rating and Power Gain effects by 20% for 15 seconds.

SP1
- 100% chance to Armour break the opponent (per hit), reducing armour rating by 10% for 10 seconds.

SP2
- Grants an evade buff that allows Daredevil to evade the next hit (Max Stack: 1). If evaded this way, Daredevil counterstrikes, placing an 3 Armour Break debuffs on the opponent, reducing armour rating by 15% each for 20 seconds.

SP3
- 100% chance to grant a True Strike buff that lasts for 30 seconds if SP3 is activated right after evading an attack (Works with Dexterity).

Deadpool (X-Force)

Sig Ability: Duodenum Poke

- Permanently bleeding the opponent was granted after poking enemies right in the duodenum, guaranteed to cause Bleed for 100% of his current attack value over 3 seconds. Does Not Stack. Refreshes on every hit.

- If the Opponent is Bleed immune, the poke instead Armour Breaks the opponent for 15% for 3 seconds. Does not stack. Refreshes on every hit.

Passive
- Deadpool regenerates 0.4% of his maximum health every second.
- Dropping below 30% Health grants a burst of 60% Power and goes Unstoppable and Indestructible for 8 seconds.

All Attacks
- 25% chance to grant an indefinite Fury buff, increasing attack rating by 10%. Max Stacks: 5.
After every 5 Fury Buffs, Deadpool converts them into an indefinite Prowess Buff increasing Special Attack Damage by 20%. Max Stacks: 10.

Heavy Attacks
- Deadpool generates 30% of a bar of power for each second he charges his heavy attack. This power gain is drained instantly if the opponent attacks him before landing the heavy attack.

SP1
- 100% chance to gain 3 Fury Buffs.

SP2
- 100% chance to inflict a Degeneration debuff dealing 300% of his current Attack Rating over 8 seconds. Why not a bleed? Because Deadpool knows that no champion is immune to degeneration. Allowing Deadpool to complete his Moonwalk grants a Prowess Buff increasing Special Attack Damage by 20%.

SP3
- Deadpool calls Kabam HQ because he misses Kabam Miike's voice. After acting like Kabam Miike picked up, he shoots his opponent, and decides to reward his brilliant trickery with a Power Gain Buff, granting himself 20% of a bar of power every second along with an unblockable buff. Both lasting 10 seconds.

Falcon

Sig Ability - Exo-8

- Redwing's Lock On lasts 5 seconds longer and provides an additional 10% critical rating while Locked On.
- Goggle recalibration is reduced to 5 seconds and 50% of Analysis charges remain if Falcon is knocked down.

Passive
- Redwing's Recon Scan is immediately ready to go at the start of the fight.
- To begin Recon Scan, Dodge Back and hold block for 0.5 seconds. While Locked On, the opponent's defensive and offensive ability accuracy is reduced by 100% for 12 seconds. Cooldown time: 60 seconds. Cooldown timer activates as soon as Redwing is Locked on.
- Redwing remains Locked On to Science Champions for 20% longer than normal. Additionally, Redwing remains Locked On to Mutant Champions for 20% shorter than normal

Analysis Charges
- Falcon's scanning system in his goggles analyzes opponent's weaknesses over time allowing him to exploit any armour, passively decreasing the opponent's armour rating and block proficiency by 1% every second. The percentage of which is shown via an Analysis charge. Max Charges: 100.
- If Falcon is hit, Analysis charges decrease by 3 per hit.
- If Falcon is knocked down, his goggles must recalibrate for 10 seconds and Analysis charges are reduced to 25% of their current charge value. During recalibration, Falcon cannot gain any analysis charges.

Critical Hits
- Each Critical Hit reduces cooldown timer on Recon Scan by 5 seconds.

Heavy Attacks
- When charging after a basic attack combo, Falcon passively stuns the opponent for 1 second. If Lock On is active, 100% chance to be Critical.

Intercepts
- If Lock On is active, 100% chance to be a Critical Hit.

SP1
- Falcon slices the opponent with his wings inflicting a Bleed Debuff (per hit) dealing 150% of his attack rating over 5 seconds. If Locked On is active, 100% chance to be Critical Hits.

SP2
- This attack has a 50% chance (per hit) to inflict Direct Damage dealing 100% of his attack rating. If Locked On is active, 100% chance to be Critical Hits and 100% chance (per hit) to inflict Direct Damage dealing 100% of his attack rating.

SP3
- Falcon immediately activates Lock On for 20 seconds and permanently decreases Recon Scan cooldown timer by 5 seconds.

Groot

Sig Ability - Gentle Giant

- Groot gains an Aptitude buff every time he activates a special attack, increasing all current buff Potencies by 20% for 10 seconds.

Immunity
- Groot is immune to Bleed effects.
- Additionally, he shrugs off debuffs 55% faster.

Passive
- Stun durations are not effected by limber
- Groot gains a Pacifism charge for every buff that he activates.

All Attacks or When Being Attacked
- 20% chance to gain a Fury Buff, increasing attack rating by 10% for 10 seconds

Heavy Attacks
Groot unleashes his pacifism charges, converting each charge to the following:
- 1 Fury, increasing Attack rating by 10% for 12 seconds
- 1 Cruelty, increasing Critical Damage Rating by 10% for 12 seconds
- 1 Power Gain Buff, granting 10% of Maximum power per second 12 seconds

Groot cannot gain more Fury buffs until all current pacifism buffs expire.

When Receiving a Critical Hit
- Groot has a 10% chance per pacifism charge to unleash his pacifism buffs.

SP1
- 50% chance (per hit) to Armor Break the opponent, reducing armour by 25% for 10 seconds. Chance to Armour break increases by 5% for every buff on Groot

SP2
- 100% chance to steal 10% of the opponent's current power. Power steal increases by 5% for every buff currently on Groot. Also heals for 5% of the damage done. This attack is unblockable.

SP3
- Groot refreshes all current buffs and doubles their duration.

All in all, my ideology is to make champions fun to play, reward good playing styles and provide satisfying damage or utility. Not every champion will be God tier, but every champion should be viable to play. Let me know if I should continue on with the rest of the Meme Tier champions. Also, send this to Kabam to let them know that we, the player base, are willing to help make the game better in any way that we can.

    Passive:
    Due to a lack of blood, groot is immune to bleed effects. However, due to having such a resilient tree-like body, groot reduces the potency of incoming poison, incinerate, coldsnap and shock effects by 80%. A unique physiology allows him to shrug off debuffs 60% faster. Groot's gentle nature allows his debuffs not to be shrugged off.

    Dashing back and holding block:
    Dashing back and holding block for 1.5 seconds shrugs off groots gentle nature. Each pacifsm charge grants groot a fury, precision and cruelty buff.
    Furies increase attack by 500. Cruelties increase his crit damage rating by 300. Precisions increase his crit rating by 500 each.

    Special 1:
    This attack petrifies the opponent, reducing healing by 100%

    Special 2:
    This attack regenerates 3700 health. Once per fight groot gives it his all for his team and uses this atttack to regenerate 40% of his missing health if he is below 10%. This attack is unblockable.

    Special 3:
    100% Chance to inflict a bleed dealing 5000 damage over 3 seconds. If the opponent is immune to bleed, they are inflicted with an incinerate dealing 5000 damage over 3 seconds.

    New Synergies:
    Team support with himself:
    Groot grants his teammates +10% attack and allows them to passively regenerate 10% health at the beginning of every fight. The attack and regen potency is increased by 100% for each guardian of the galaxy on the team.


    Even better than mine! Our community is amazing and the love for this game really shows. Let's hope that all of our efforts are returned with some mindful changes for our enjoyment. Make old champs fun to play and worth the time and effort it takes to pull them.
