Mephisto on Plagued Mind

I was fighting mephisto in war.
Nodes: plagued mind, close encounters(linked path 8 on the hard map )
I had 2+ bars of power with dr doom, and plagued mind activated and removed my power. This caused mephisto’s sp3 ability to trigger, in which if he drains 2+ bars of power from the opponent, he gains a permanent aura of Incineration. However, his description makes it seem like that can only occur while using his sp3. I guess this will be like the freezer burn massacre issue in which abilities that shouldn’t be active activate?

The node drained 2 bars of power which is a ability of Mephisto so it is not a bug because it is written in his abilites

Yes, but what I’m saying is that mephisto’s description makes it sound like it will only occur if he strikes you with his sp3.

It’s under the description of his special 3, doesn’t seem like it should happen without the special 3 being used to me
