Does it matter when you become Uncollected?

So right now I am slowly making my way to Uncollected. I am at 5.2.3 usually take on the next mission and soon as restock on revives and health potions since I don’t want to waste units. But I I wanted I could probably become uncollected even today albeit it will cost me quite a few units

Now my question is does it matter when I become uncollected? Will the calendar and everything else automatically switch to uncollected or will I have to wait for next month

    If you get Uncollected now you will have to wait until the July calendar for it to change.

    You will have to wait until the next calendar reset get uncollected calendar.
