because they;re trash. Call me a hater but in most video games I play, I only use and rank up the best of the best. In smash no meddling with low tiers. In overwatch I don't even touch the trash characters such as bastion that is literally for noobs. Why can't I do it in this game?

That's totally fine. That's a great way to play, and if you like playing like that, then go for it. I certainly play somewhat like that. But you don't have to hate on other people's opinions or styles of play. If you think he's dumb for doing it, then you can laugh until you pee yourself. There's no reason to be so against someone's style of play or decisions in a mobile video game Also, i love overwatch. Some people still play memes like bastion. Why? They're fun for that person and they enjoy doing it. Look at kolorblind and bastionmain. You can't hate on those guys for playing who they like. Some people pay mei to win games, but many people don't find her fun, so they don't play her. Play games how you want

Oh yeah and bastion isnt only for noobs. If anything, it exposes people that are noobs. If you can't counter him, who's the real noob? Pros in owl have pulled him off with great success. Totally different game, but I guess my point is that people can play whoever they want and even if they're bad, you can find use out of them

Just to put an end to this. At the end of the day , a game is to be enjoyed. If someone he likes is not a good champion. But if he likes them he might as well put the resources into him/her (whichever champion).
Now maybe the frustration here stems from the fact that if someone else got that gem they would have made better use of that class awakening. But maybe this guy is just a casual gamer and he just wants to have fun.
Nothing too complex about it , a person with progression in mind would not make that choice. I mean if we just only thought about progression then what good is it to play a game for some delight for playing with my favourite champ.
