Human Torch Smoulder cap

I've recently ranked up my Human Torch and taken him into the Abyss. One thing that I'm noticing is that he will randomly cap himself on the number of smoulders. This is usually not an issue until around 100 and then it's very hit or miss. I've had it cap at 99 vs IMIW and his medium energy attacks no longer increase his smoulder. I'm attaching a you tube video of my fight against Abyss Sym Supreme Where I cap out at 111 for a very long time. I've seen many other videos where his smoulder will continue growing past 150+.

Could I get an explanation or can you confirm that this is a bug and are working to fix it.
