Compensation for those who spent money to get more intel

I am aware Kabam said there would be compensation in this month's event for those who spent money to get more intel, however, is there any possible way they could maybe save that compensation for next month? Truly, this months event is underwhelming and I feel the value is not equivalent as it was last month. I understand it's unlikely but damn, very disappointed my money is essentially going to this event which is not worth it.

    I think they're probably going to compensate us with crystal shards or something.
