4* rank up cost

Does any one else feel that the resources needed to rank up. 4* is too much now at higher level I’m cavalier and don’t rank them up now past r3 because the other materials Are far more valuable to my 5*
roster
Love it if the rank up costs went down as you progressed Or something like 4* rank up gems where in say am arena milestone I’d hit that for sure
