Mordo and BPCW

So, looking at 5.3.1, there’s a Black Panther Civil War. Since this is a mystic chapter, and Mordo exists, would the following strategy work?

Parry him when he has an armor up
he reflects the stun
evade when he attacks and apply degen

Is he worth taking to r4(4 star) for this and because I need another Mystic for 5.3 anyway?

I use this strategy on Medusa in arena all the time with Mordo. She auto blocks to a stun I rinse the stun and apply degen. It will work for CWBP as well

The strategy works but bpcw isn’t exactly a difficult champion to fight, not worth the resources to rank up a meh champ for 1 not even that difficult fight

Even a 4-40 mordo is outdamage by other good 4-40s in the mystic quest, and I’ve never used the synergy once so it’s probably not a great one (I don’t even know what it does and I use sym a lot so it’s nothing major or I’d know about it) it’s a waste of t4b imo

SymSup starts the fight with one bar of power. I find the synergy really jump-starts his rotation.

As my first 6* is Mordo, I will use him in that fight just for fun so thanks @SpideyFunko for the tip!

Also, a good champ of other classes are better than Mordo, even if the damage is less they have more survivability if they are ranked up.

Yes it works and is real fun but only ranking a champ for one fight is not worth the catalysts

I mean I like his playstyle anyway and another 4/40 would make even arena teams so

The strategy to use Mordo astral evade against BPCW will work perfectly. Too bad that Mordo is such a hard hitter, but to charge these 10 furies it takes so long and you risk getting punished while holding your heavy. A quake style heavy charge mechanics (evade the first hit while charging heavy) or faster charging furies on heavy (like HT buffed) would make Mordo a useful champ outside of aw defense. 🤞Kabam consider make one of these changes
