I'm confused at top zone bonuses

I was under the assumption that at the end of the month you got rewarded the zone bonuses up to the room you got to. But I haven't gotten rewarded for it yet. So have I got the understanding of how these rewards work or??

    You get the rewards as soon as you complete the zones. They go immediately to your inventory
