Questions on Alliance Tickets and Increasing Cost Structures.

Hello Summoners,
As stated, a couple questions.
The first is- will there ever be sales/discounts on Alliance Tickets in the future? I do expect to buy some every once in a while, but if there is a sale, I would hold out until that happens. Even if it is an undisclosed date.
The second and more important question I have is regarding the increasing cost of purchasing tickets through the in game store.
One of the reasons this was implemented was to give Summoners "more" a choice of how to use their resources.
I understand that it does give us "more" of a choice, however I do not really get why it is stated that way when there is increasing cost to use those resources for tickets. If I am a hard core arena grinder and I am ok with using my battlechips to purchase tickets, it would make sense for me to use those BCs as my entry cost rather than gold and loyalty. The thing that makes me question doing that is having to pay up to get more because of the increasing cost. Logically speaking, why would I want to do that? Why would anyone? Having the increasing cost puts a force on us that will shift us to splitting our resources to buy these tickets. While we have a choice, we don't really. Not unless we want to pay up.
When you look at a simple supply and demand relationship, as demand for a product goes up, the price should decrease because of the quantity demanded since there is an infinite supply. At least that is what the norm is. However that is not the case here. That being said, I don't see why a Summoner/consumer would pay more to get less. (This goes the same for other stores as well).
I ask this question genuinely because I want to see the increasing cost system change. For me (and I expect other Summoners as well) this system is a complete turn off. Since these systems are mostly used with in game resources, I don't see what the controllers of in game economy want to happen. If it is simply a resource wash (wash meaning items for sale in the store are offered specifically to drain resources), then it doesn't make sense to have an increasing cost structure because it doesn't make sense to pay more for less. I don't know what other reasons there could be.
I hope the controllers of the economy can chime in on this and give a genuine answers. I ask that you please provide transparency. Thanks.
