Bonus rewards for Leader/Officers for aq/aw

Just a thought, but bonus rewards for Leader and Officers for running and maintaining an alliance would be a nice touch for the headaches you get for running an alliance

Nah. AQ and AW are team efforts. Everyone should keep getting the same payouts.

I get what op is saying. It takes all 30 members to WIN, but leader and officers run it. I have been through a dozen alliances, and in all of them several people had to be told to move in aq, questioned why they took a noded fight, why they haven’t logged on, why they can’t COMMUNICATE that they wouldn’t be logging on, etc.

Being an officer and asking for everyone’s champs so you can plan diversity in war, choose suited paths in aq, organizing bgs so they’re even is a taxing and thankless job. It’s a lot of work to ensure efficiency and greater probability of winning so everyone can get their rewards. Op just thinks they deserve a little extra, and I agree, but idk how it would be done. Bring back donations maybe and let them go to officers and leader evenly? Interesting remedy to some people’s gold problems...

I don’t see it as unfair, I’ve been an officer or Leader for the last two years, between running aq, Aw, recruiting, running Line chats And dealing with personal issues of members, it takes a lot to run an alliance. I’m not saying they deserve a crazy high reward bonus but just something. Not anyone can run and keep an alliance running smooth.

The more I think about it it just won’t work. If you made it automatic people would abuse it and promote everyone. If you made it donation based we’d run into the same **** as we did with aq donation dumps. Accept that it’s a thankless job or step down and let some one else take the stress like I did.

some leaders and officers do much more than members.
some do not.

some members do the work that some officers do just without a title.
there is no fair way do it.

i have been in alliances where the leader is the laziest person in the ally.
i have been in alliances as a member where i organise movement in BGS.
i have been a leader of alliances where i have had mates as officers who do nothing. just there cus mates.

Better argument could be made for those that put up the most points over the course of the week in AQ or over the course of the AW season. The designation as Officer or Leader doesn't necessarily mean that they've worked harder than others. Increasing rewards for greater participation and success would encourage greater and more competitive participation.

The idea that leaders and officers receive greater rewards because “they do more” or greater rewards for higher individual aq/aw score are both terrible.

Too much potential for resentment on the first part (as well as being open to abuse) and the second part would do nothing more than encourage selfish play in order to finish top.

You chose to be an officer/leader. You chose to put in extra work for really no individual gain. No one asked you to do all that.

OR there is nobody else willing to put in the work.
It would be great if officers/leader got more rewards but then you would just have alliances with 29 officers.

What would be great is in-game tools to help leadership make the work easier to do.
