Summoner Advancement

How come there is a requirement to place in the ranking for summoner advancement and it keeps getting raised. It really is hurting the smaller alliances who are f2p who can't make that cut. My alliance is mostly f2p and we don't come close to making this cut. What's the reasoning?

Mine was in the 265k and we could not reach it. Something happened and a few left and now we dropped back to 130k and it's now the third week cut-offs is 130k.
you'll get there. it takes time and everyone goes through it. When you get to a higher rating and a stronger alliance you will place every week without thinking.
Keep grinding
Our alliance missed last SA advancement rank rewards at 160k (another story why we missed it) but we are now pushed up to 265k again. I deduce it's because we now have 22 members. So, 20 member alliance cannot get into 265k cutoff bracket.
Any one can confirm?
It is simply based on the total rating of your alliance. I don't know what the cutoffs are, but as you grow your total rating, the SA rank target will go up. 265K is the max.
A 20 member alliance who all have 300K accounts will still get the 265K bracket
It's based in rating, I think it's somewhere around the 1.3-1.5 million range I don't remember the exact number. The only way to move down is to drop your allaince rating down it has nothing to do with the amount of members you have.
Technically you could have like 10 members who are north of 150k and they would be in the 265k bracket.
Try to come up with a minimum for everyone and stick to it those who do not get close to it remove them if they aren't contributing until you get a group capable of doing so.
We lost a chunk of members and were having a hard time with sa brought new members in , repeat the process and hold for a week or more depending on how early we hit the sa.
Once your alliance gets in a groove they can put up a lot of points, currently we're at 180k+ already.
Seems like I am hijacking OP's thread ... oops.
I understand the holding crystal opening and ranking.
I am more interested to find out the conditions leading to the various cut-offs. I just realised I mentioned 130k in an earlier post and then 160k in a latter post.
Looks like more help to observe the data is needed.
Again it's based on alliance rating, the smaller your alliance rating is the less points they need to put up to rank in sa.
The bigger your rating is the more points you have to put up to make the ranking, once you reach the threshold you either make it work or purge members until you drop your allaince out of the bracket and down into a lower one.
It's something like
30k
60k
100k under that
160k 1-1.4 million
265k 1.5 million
I don't remember the exact numbers for the brackets or their cuttoffs, it's been awhile but those are close to them so no further data is really needed.
You want to stay in 160k then drop below 1.5 million, you want to stay than either hold or set minimum and kick people who don't contribute.
Really confused but good to get rank rewards.
