Scrap AW Tactics--Counterintuitive to Diversity

When trying to fix the Mystic Wars, Kabam nerfed Mystic Dispersion and created defender diversity in an effort to make AW more interesting by hopefully having a variety of defenders you would come up against.
In the latest move to make it more interesting, Defense Tactics, they have eliminated that spirit of diversity by encouraging placement of a set number of defenders with a certain tag. This made AW less interesting and simply frustrating for most.
Granted that certain tactics only had a couple reasonable counters for attackers, but instead of fixing the tactic (flow, mostly) they are introducing corresponding Attack Tactics that counter the Defense tactic. While it will cover more than a couple attackers, it limits the diversity of attackers to ise, as well, so the defender and attacker pool is much smaller. This seems to go against their mission of diversity in creating a unique, fun, and interactive form of competitive gameplay.
So, should tactics be scrapped altogether? My vote is yes. Perhaps then our alliance will start doing AW again. *shrug*
Hopefully with their rebuild of AW from the ground up they come up with some cool mechanics that aren't so limiting and frustrating. And they could buff mid tier to lower rewards, as well.

While we're at it, can we bring defender kill points back? Only reason they were scrapped was so an alliance didn't give up and would use pots/spend $. Honestly, if an alliance has 30 more kills than their opponent, they deserve to win.
