Does becoming uncollected give you a boost?

I seem to find fights easier now. I can clear content for which I needed at least one revive or a boost before without much of a problem. I doubt I have magically become better then before and the only real difference is that I ranked my 5 star Sentinel to R4 but even without him content seems easier

So does uncollected give you some kind of a boost
