should i maxed out a 3star Gambit

I have just completed act 3 which was a slight struggle with my roster. My current top champions are a 4* Medusa 3/5 4* Iron Patriot 2/5 3* Spiderman 4/4 maxed out. is it worth me maxing out Gambit who is 4/4 however 17/40. for my progresion in act 4.
