Compare to Colossus, Omega Red and Domino. He can't carry on. His damage ramp up against champions that can bleed is very slow. But his awakening abilitiy is still very useful in act 6 in so many scenarios.
Right now most of people use him because of his utility not damage.
I redid the same fight against deadpool with Domino (no synergy because we need to compare just the champ itself) as a comparison.
No. I have mine at r4 sig200 and I keep meaning to r5 him for both prestige and the larger health pool, but I don't particularly like Namor. I hate him actually. He's boring to use and his ramp up takes too long. Not to mention that his regen is useless. The nerf to Namor made me realize that Namor isn't a Beyond God-Tier or even God-Tier champ. If we have to use tier lists, I'd place him in Occasionally Useful. Namor is only useful for his sig ability and his sig ability only is necessary for a few specific champions and fights. Now, where you need Namor, he's hands down the best champ for the job 9 times out of 10, but when you don't need his sig ability, you're better off using Sunspot if you're looking for big yellow numbers.
Even though many boast the nerf hardly changed him, we can all agree the hype surrounding Namor has significantly worn off, compared to what it use to be like.
Doesnt matter if the sig /his damage wasn’t changed, they made a long ramp up even longer than what it is and halved the regen, there was no pros to the “rebalance” just cons.
I have him as a 4* , 5* and 6* and won’t be touching him, OR already covers most of what he can do and is drastically better
Looks like the community is divided. But I'd say it's mainly because of personal preference. The arguments for Namor can be said for a lot of top tier champions, but in the end... I'd take Namor over almost 150 champions in the game and he'd get me through a lot of content.

I find his ramp up is not too bad. I generally get to SP3 & bait out the special and by that time, you'll get 20+ outrage. Activate imperius rex, then do SP3, SP2, SP2 & SP1. They usually are gone by the 2nd SP2.

Domino will suffer against bleed immune fights.

Personally i would rank champs for their utility. So maybe hold out unless you can get him to sig 200 & and if his utility is what you need.

Just play the champ that you enjoy & fits your needs 😁
