Possible AW bug - Boss node

I just fought magik on the boss node in bg2 and got one combo in and she jumped 2 bars of power. This definitely wasn't a result of MD. obviously limbo proc'd and I almost died so I decided to hit her 2 more times and she went in sp3 territory. No Node nodes linked. Map 99% cleared anyone else notice this?
