I have completed 75% of it and I’m not an average player. There is a lot of BS in act 6. I don’t think the attack values need to be dropped. I think the if you don’t have X you lose X attack is bs. The rest isn’t so bad. You take away that and everything else is definitely do able.
Well.. we’ve probably seen a glimpse of how “difficult” a gutted A6 can be with the Canadian side quest.
A6 post-nerf is gonna probably be content that you can do half asleep, with one closed eye, using R4 5*s and laugh afterwards at how easy it was.
Really sad that they’re gonna gut it so badly. Some fights needed nerfing, I agree, like Acid Wash Mysterio etc, but dropping attack values so much is just ridiculous. A 20-30% nerf is more than good enough.
How can content be challenging if it doesn’t punish you enough for slipping up?
Post-nerf, a full combo from the defender will likely take out 20% of your health. That’s ridiculously low. Pre-nerf, 100% health, too high. Make it somewhere that will hurt but not so much to one shot your champ (eg 40-60% of your health).
@xNig it is a business decision. They want people to be able to play act 7 before multiple years of building up a roster. Lets respect the fact that Kabam needs to make money from the game so we can all still enjoy.
True that. I suspected as much. Flip side of what’s going to happen is that people find that they’re so illy equipped to handle 7.1 that they complain and get that nerfed again. Lol
If they're smart 7.1 will end up being closer to pre-nerf 6.3/6.4 (excluding bs fights) to avoid it. The attack value nerfs are a bit extreme but I won't complain about easy rewards. Could probably block through every fight using CapIW with how much the attack is dropping

And the cycle continues lol. I just want a boat load of shards and revives for completing it before the nerf happened. I got 4 more Abyss runs to go.
2 for me. Just done one path the last few days.
Tried VtD on GG and P99 instead of Aegon. Regretted... 😂

Yup. Or add in a node that if you perform a certain action, you get a portion of the criteria fulfilled.

I doubt so. From the looks of Canadian, it seems that Kabam is going an entirely different route.
The logic behind most of the paths are, if you have XYZ, you’ll clear the path without breaking a sweat, which is pretty boring imo.

Thing about that is Canadian difficulty also has to have accessibility for people who have only completed 6.1 and recently got cavalier title. they don't have to do that for 7.1

True that. Which is why I suggested an “easy” path for early Cavaliers to be able to complete the quest (but “Easy” is relative and I’m sure some new Cavaliers will still whine about how difficult it is), while the other paths really (I mean REALLY) test a players skill and roster.
Now that I think about it, what can be done is to limit Cav difficulty quests to 5-6 paths max.
There’ll be an easy path with 2 incoming linked nodes, and subsequent paths with increasing linked nodes (up to 7-8 nodes). Some nodes will require skill, some require roster. Also, put the rewards on the paths (similar time Abyss chests) so the “in-between” players can incrementally clear the quest and obtain the rewards to grow their rosters and eventually be able to tackle the entire quest for explorationZ
Bump for Kabam to give an update on timelines for announcing compensation...
The act 6 nerf is way too extreme. Definitely deserves proper compensation. I love that there was a guy in here saying it's easy without having even explored it. 'Easy' and 'possible with units' are not the same. Looking at you @Nojokejaym
I never said it was easy, I said an average player can do it with money and a ton of items. So don’t lie.
The average player can't do it. Otherwise there wouldn't be a need for the nerf and players that are really good should be able to do it itemless if the average player can do it. Neither is true.
