Longshot as Abyss Cosmic Counter?

I don't have Doom, SS (either) or Claire.

I do have a 6* unawakened Longshot, however, which I could take to R2.

I know he can do Venom the Duck as I've seen YouTube footage, but I haven't seen much else.

Can anyone with experience say whether he could be a viable answer to the cosmic fights in the Abyss?
